National Champs for press

NewYork pizza and the national federation KNWU came with a fun idea to organize a national championship for the dutch press. Last Thursday a big group of people came to Papendal to give it all for the first ever national bmx title.
It`s always good to show yourselves to the press during a pre-olympic and Olympic year so the sport get his attention. With this idea it was not just a normal press conference with 7 people behind a table but one with a lot of action and scary moments.
Next day different newspapers wrote about it and that’s what we all needed.

NewYork pizza en de KNWU kwamen met een leuk idee om een nationaal kampioenschap te organiseren voor journalisten. Afgelopen donderdag kwam een grote groep journalisten naar Papendal op alles op alles te zetten voor deze nationale bmx titel.
Het is altijd goed om jezelf en de sport weer in de aandacht te brengen bij de pers en zeker in een jaar voor de spelen en in het Olympische jaar. Met dit idee was het dus geen normale persconferentie met 7 mensen achter een tafel maar een met actie en enge momenten.
De volgende dag schreven verschillende kranten over onze ploeg en dat is toch waar het om ging.
